I have loved to fish with a passion since I was a kid. I grew up with a cabin on Lake Vermilion and used to fish every weekend I went up there. I summer fished more then, and the past few years got into ice fishing more because I have more free time in the winter.
I live on Madeline Island and fish Lake Superior often now. When the inland lakes back home (Lake Nebagamon area) freeze over first, I am chasing crappie and bluegill as soon as I can and as late as I can.
